Education loans

Funding is usually the deciding factor, and the visa officer will want to see it. We help you get the loan sanctioned in time.

Lenders we work with

Secured (with collateral)

Backed by property, fixed deposits or insurance policies. Larger amounts, lower interest, longer processing.

  • Typically the choice for higher tuition destinations
  • Property papers must be clear and valued
  • Longer sanction time — start early

Unsecured (no collateral)

Based on your co-applicant's income and credit history. Faster, but capped lower and priced higher.

  • Co-applicant income and CIBIL score matter most
  • Faster sanction, useful when the intake is close
  • Amount limits vary a lot by lender and country

Documents you'll need

  • Admission or offer letter from the university
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates
  • Language test score (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or equivalent)
  • Passport and identity proof
  • Co-applicant income proof and bank statements
  • Collateral documents, if applying for a secured loan
  • Cost of attendance breakdown from the university

How it usually goes

  1. 1Work out the real total — tuition, living costs, travel, insurance
  2. 2Decide secured or unsecured based on the amount and your timeline
  3. 3Compare lenders on interest, moratorium and processing fees
  4. 4Assemble documents while the application is still in progress
  5. 5Get the sanction letter in time to support your visa financial proof
A note on numbers.Interest rates, limits and processing times vary by lender, country and your co-applicant's profile, and they change often. We won't quote figures here — a counsellor will walk you through current options for your specific case.
